It’s not from Spillinga, Calabria in Italy, it’s not exactly nduja… Midlanduja is our rendition, with our wealth of knowledge when it comes to spices and chillies, we are perfectly suited to developing a spicy meat product! This is a moderate heat that has such depth of flavour to it.
What is it? It’s a spreadable pork salami, being spreadable makes this extremely versatile. It’s something you have to taste to understand it properly.
The best way to get the most from Midlanduja is to open up the flavour profiles by using good quality honey and a little lemon juice. By heating a pan and adding these three ingredients you can simply drizzle it on your pizza, into a pasta dish or what ever you want to add an extra depth of flavour to.
